It contains Program files/Windows folders. The G drive had 31.9 GB free out of 58.5 GB.
One drive is named Local Drive F: the other one is named Boot G: The F drive has 84,7 MB free out of 99.9. Thank you very much for any insight or help. When my pc booted up and I went to check on my drives (since the indexing got me curious) there suddenly are 2 new ones. and why it appeared now when I've had my computer for so long? And what I should do with it? MIM, etc.Ĭan anyone tell me where this hard drive came from?. When I open it the first thing inside is a Dell folder followed by a whole lot of files with random strange names many of which are. It says it has about 40MB of space 6 of which is used (my main hard drive is about 80gigs). it says it's FAT32 formatted (not the format of my main hard drive NTFS).
Recently, I'm not sure exactly when because I just happen to notice it - there is another 'local disk' listed under my hard drives section of the 'my computer' window. and of course my home hard drive 'local disk(C:)'. I have 3 'removable storage drives' D, E, and F and an external hard drive H. I am running a Dell Dimension 8300 for about 6 years with Windows-XP installed for the last 4-5 years.
